I have been an active, sporty and an adventurous guy throughout my life. Although I did not have time in my initial twenties to explore the world as much as I would have liked. Too much pressure of medical studies. However, I left no stone unturned once I passed out of my medical college. I started exploring like crazy whenever I could and my life partner is my best travel companion.  I have always loved trekking and its my dream to trek to the Mount Everest . However I think this dream of mine has to wait. I , however have had my share of trekking experiences. The most recent has been trek to the Dainkund Peak, Dalhousie. Its important to learn the do’s and don’ts of trekking beforehand so that you are fully prepared. Dainkund Peak is the highest peak in the Dalhousie region. I visited in January end. The two F words Footwear and Fashion go hand in hand. Though we usually associate fancy footwear with girls, its a secret known only to guys that we like splurging on shoes too! The only reason we guys own a lesser number of shoes than women is that our shoes are much more expensive! I mean you can snag a beaded flip flop for 200 bucks at a flea market but can you grab anything manly at 200? No!  Well moving on we often tend to forget our feet's well being on account of fashion. As much as looks are important, so is comfort! The Orthopaedician in me can never overlook the health of our feet. Faulty footwear can lead to formation of bunions, corns, flat foot, etc etc. Right footwear is particularly needed when travelling. You are constantly on the go and that means no rest.
