Wonderchef opens its first store in Gurugram

If you are a cook, then of course good cookware fascinate you. Even if you don't have any relationship with cooking (like me) you still have interest in cookware because believe me everyone loves to eat. And for nicely cooked food, a fantastic range of cookware is mandatory. I may not cook, but my wife is an avid food preparer and entertainer so I have some knowledge about the prerequisites of an elaborate meal. She had been a fan of Wonderchef cookware since quite long. Earlier this wonderful range of cookware was available only online. But then last Sunday, the brand opened its first outlet in North India and we could not be more excited! The cherry on the cake? Master chef Sanjeev Kapoor was coming himself to inaugurate.




Wonderchef, which is India's favourite brand of healthy cooking, opened its first store in North India, in Galleria Market, Gurugram. The store is fully equipped with all the products and very nicely decked up. Mr Ravi Saxena, MD Wonderchef Store and a food entrepreneur, gave a live demonstration of the various Wonderchef appliances. The products are very easy to use, make lives simple and above all promote healthy lifestyle. Their motto in the next three years is to become among the top three kitchenware brand in India. My personal favourite appliances have to be the Cold Press Juicer, Bread Maker and Blender. Of course their range of Non stick pots and pans are not only beautiful externally but are made of high quality Teflon that does not peel. Their warranty ranges from 2 to 5 years.
After the live demo, it was time for the cooking competition! Cooking enthusiasts came from all over Gurugram to get their recipes tasted by Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor himself! Yes, there were hundreds of participants who got the privilege to get their recipes tasted by Sanjeev Kapoor himself! The winner was Reeta Arora while Anju and Rajni Anand were runners up.
After the food tasting competition, we got to Tete a tete with the Master Chef himself. He is such a jolly person in nature with his dimpled smile. So it was an afternoon filled with cooking and getting to watch a beautiful range of cooking appliances. We got a lovely casserole as a takeway gift.

A day in my life in Bewakoof.com Joggers and T-shirt

Just because I travel so much, most of the people who don't know me feel that my life is easy. But what they don't understand is that in order to arrange money for travelling, I work freaking hard. I can't even take off on Sundays. However I can wear comfortable casuals on weekends thankfully. Recently I came across Bewakoof.com and really liked their wide range of casuals. I chose a cool pair of denim jeans and a cobalt blue T-shirt . The T shirt spoke my mind: Gotta Move On! Usually my Sundays start very early...I know I don't have the privilege to sleep in. I play cricket and am part of the Delhi Medical Association cricket team. Our matches are held every Sunday, at seven in the morning. So this Sunday too I left at six in the morning to play.
